New Project

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Royal Jelly meets Sarah Ruhl

Dead Man's Cell Phone by Sarah Ruhl
Where: 225 McKibbin #202
When: November 27-29, 2009, 8:00pm

Royal Jelly Entertainment Productions, the truly independent creative entity responsible for fierce, original works in Manhattan and Brooklyn since 2008 will be mounting their newest production, Sarah Ruhl's Dead Man's Cell Phone, November 27-29, 2009 at their home venue of 255 McKibbin, a converted textiles factory in Bushwick Brooklyn.

Andréa Graugnard, co-director of the "nearly flawless," "moving" collaborative ensemble production, Ariel View, brings a timeless simplicity to America's most adored contemporary playwright. Dead Man's Cell Phone is the Hopper-inspired tale of a lost soul's search for meaning after she encounters a corpse and its incessant cell phone at a lonesome cafe. The show takes a surreal look at the difficulty people have making a connection in the overly connected technological age.

Tickets are $10 sold at the door and can be reserved by RSVP to info@royaljellytheater.com.

The newest RJE event will be an exciting and delightful adventure, full of the "passion, intelligence and vision" to be expected from a Royal Jelly Entertainment Production.
